Consumer-Directed Services
Consumer-Directed Services allow individuals seeking personal assistance care, the option to hire and train their own attendants. For instance, family members or close friends can be compensated for providing the care you or your loved one deserves.
Personal Assistance Services assist with activities of daily living, instrumental activities of daily living, access to the community, self-administration of medication, other medical needs, monitoring of health status and physical condition.

Respite Services offers primary caregivers' temporary relief from daily caregiving responsibilities. Respite can help minimize family stress by preserving physical and mental stability of the primary caregiver.

Companion Services is available to Developmental Disability Waiver (CL/FIS) recipients age 18 and older. Companion services assist adult individuals with housekeeping, shopping, community and social activities.

Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnosis and Treatment (EPSDT) Personal
Care services is available to Medicaid/FAMIS Plus members under the age
of 21 years old.
